Wabi-sabi:

In tradition Japanese aesthetics, Wabi-sabi is Japanese view of the acceptance of imperfection in relation to creations. The aesthetics characteristics include roughness, simplicity, modesty, intimacy and involving natural objects and processes. Richard Powell believes "Wabi-sabi nurtures all that is authentic by acknowledging three simple realities: nothing lasts, nothing is finished, and nothing is perfect."
